I brought my 88 year old Grandma to lunch at Gator’s Dockside in Oakleaf. As I was assisting her to the front door, we were greeted by the hostess, Alexia, who opened the door for us. She also pulled the chair out at the table for my Grandma when she sat us. Little gestures like that really make a big difference. Then our waitress, Megan, was great. She made recommendations for Grandma’s meal to make it more accommodating and easier for Grandma to handle. (Removing the 3rd piece of bread from the club sandwich to make it smaller for Grandma, which was helpful!) She was very attentive, and kept our drinks full. The food was delicious, and came out quickly. We will definitely be back, and appreciate the great service.
Stopped in for a quick bite, forgetting it was game day. It was fairly busy inside, but not packed or over crowded. I expected a significant dealy in food order and was surprised as to how guick it came out. I sat at the inside bar, I was served immediatley. Most everyone inside appeared to be with a group enjoying the game. There is an outside bar as well connected to the inside bar. All in all, good experience.
Big menu, delicious food. Not many restaurants allow dogs into an air conditioned patio area. We'll be back!
The restaurant has moved into its own building, and this is where they belong. The new building atmosphere is open and inviting with inside and porch seating. The menu has changed a little, but the time-honored wings and Monte Cristo is still available. This was my first time back after two years not visiting. The service and food have improved immensely. I had the shrimp and grits which were excellent, but the presentation needs a little work. It would also be nice if they removed the entire shell but that's a matter of preference. The fried shrimp plate was good, but the onion ring breading was more like mushy grease. Still, the experience was nice and much better than the past. They tend to stay crowded so check Google to see if they are busy. The restaurant is large so don't let the crowded parking lot scare you. TVs on every wall to keep the sports freaks happy. Overall, a much better experience and they are on my recommendation list.
Came had lunch with the family on a Sunday. It wasn’t packed. Service was good, waiter was nice and attentive Food was good everybody enjoyed their meal.
Every time we come here, I get the Monte Cristo sandwich special and it fills me UP 😍 This place has a clean atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, and amazing ranch! 😂 My husband had the fried shrimp platter and he loved his meal too! I told my husband to FREEZE when he was done with his coleslaw because I saw what looks like a duck/seagull in the container and it is SO CUTE lol
I love how Sue, the manager on duty, made me feel welcomed with awesome music, lots of choices of sports on televisions and an excellent serving staff like my server, Lina. I chose to eat the Classic Club sandwich with fries and I was not disappointed. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The value was perfect and I plan to return with my wife.
My first visit here. It was very busy but we were seated right away. The place is really nice. Great , fun atmosphere. The servers were very friendly. The menu has a lot of choices and I want to try them all. I ordered the nachos and a Philly. Both were excellent. The nachos had house made chili. The food came out quickly. The only complaint and it's very minor. It took 18 mins to get the bill paid to leave. I will be back . You should definitely try it.
We are new to the area. This was our second visit to Gators. We loved it. We will be back. Our son has Autism and was having a rough day. Our server was great with him. The staff and customers were very tolerant and understanding to him. I want to thank everyone at Gators for a great meal and a relaxing atmosphere.
Finally made to this spot. Been driving by it for 7 months. So happy I stopped on for lunch today. Upon entering I definitely noticed how clean the floors were and generally clean overall. We were seated immediately. The waiter was awesome. He gave great recommendations off the lunch menu. Definitely recommend trying this spot out!! I’ll be back!!
